Experiments with digital Inkjet printing on textiles, here I have investigated the possibilities of combining pattern construction- and graphic programs. This opens up opportunities to work with decoration directly on the individual pattern parts, so that pattern and decoration can run over seams and cuts. This gives new possibilities, freedoms in the design and the aesthetic expression.

In the experiments I have taken one of the form icons of the clothing industry – the suit.  It has been my intention to use images and graphics that have references to things and phenomena we know from our everyday lives – the imaginary imagery. It allows me to play with the recipient’s perceptions of symbols and icons.
